Which air conditioners work with Soyo Air?
Air conditioners that have a wireless (Wi-Fi) function and support the ECHONET Lite standard. So far Soyo Air has been tested on Mitsubishi Kirigamine MSZ-ZW (2025 models). Other brands that support ECHONET Lite may work, but they have not been verified yet.
Can I control my air conditioner when I'm away from home?
No. Soyo Air works only while your Mac or iPhone is on the same Wi-Fi network as the air conditioner. It uses no cloud service, so there is no remote control from outside your home.
Soyo Air can't find my air conditioner.
Check that the air conditioner's wireless function is turned on and that it is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac or iPhone. Also make sure Soyo Air is allowed to access the local network in your system's privacy settings. If your router isolates devices from each other, or you are on a guest network, the devices may not be able to reach each other. If it still doesn't appear, you can add it by entering its IP address.
How do timers work on iPhone?
On Mac, timers run while Soyo Air is running in the menu bar. On iPhone, apps can't send commands at a set time by themselves, so timers run through the Shortcuts app or while Soyo Air is open.
What does Soyo Air Pro include?
Soyo Air Pro is a one-time purchase shared between Mac and iPhone. It unlocks scenes, temperature rules and energy statistics. Controlling your air conditioners and weekly timers are free.
What do I need to run it?
A Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 15 or later, or an iPhone running iOS 26 or later.
Where is my data stored, and how do I delete it?
Room names, timers, scenes, rules and usage history are stored only on your device. On iPhone, deleting the app removes them. On Mac, delete the app and the folder ~/Library/Containers/cv.rui.aircon to remove everything.
Restoring your purchase
Sign in with the Apple Account you used for the purchase, open Settings in Soyo Air and choose Restore Purchase. One purchase covers both Mac and iPhone.
